What Redondo Needs
The City of Redondo Beach deserves a Mayor who will represent all of its citizens. As a Councilmember, I have made it a point to reach out to those who have a different point of view, to find common ground, and to find a path forward that achieves the best result for all. In addition to my two terms on the City Council I have served 12 years on various City Commissions working to find solutions that benefit all of Redondo Beach.
I have a unique relationship with the Redondo Beach School Board, receiving endorsements from three of the School Board members. Working with all the members of the School Board, I have been instrumental in creating agreements and solving issues that have benefited the City and School District.
The youth of our community has been a focus of mine for decades. I have had the pleasure of working with our youth as a soccer coach, referee, Boy Scout leader, PTSA Board member, tutor, and for over 10 years as a teacher in the Redondo Beach School District. I have received numerous awards for my leadership from AYSO, Boy Scouts of America, and the PTSA. There has been no leadership role that has given me more pride than to see the maturing of our youth to become productive, creative, and responsible adults.
As Mayor, I pledge to advocate on behalf of Redondo Beach to our Federal, State, and County representatives, to reach out to all residents of Redondo Beach, and to give my full commitment to the office. I respectfully ask for your vote on May 14th.
